Yost and Ferrara Promoted to Supervisors at HK

 Hall, Kistler is happy to announce the promotions of Sarah Yost and Alex Ferrara to Supervisors.

Sarah is one of our leaders in the bookkeeping department. She is certified in Xero and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is knowledgeable in RainMaker, TCS and Applied Systems. Sarah also practices in the areas of accounting, audit, and tax for clients in the Restaurant, Medical and Manufacturing industries and has experience in preparing 1040s as well as bankruptcy workouts. 

Sarah graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mount Union College and was hired on as a full-time staff accountant in 2005. Sarah is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountant’s and is on the board of Women’s Initiative (WIN). She is a 2008 graduate of Spotlight Stark County and is a member of the Canton Regional Chamber and the College Club of Canton.

Alex practices in the area of individual and corporate taxation and audits and is a member of the Non-Profit Niche.  
He received his Interdisciplinary Master of Business Administration from the University of Akron with a concentration in tax and accounting. While working at HK and studying for his MBA, Alex volunteered for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and was the recipient of the OSCPA Foundation Scholarship for graduate studies. In addition, he holds a bachelor’s in business administration with a minor in accounting from the University of Mount Union.
Alex is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
