BKR International has elected Hall, Kistler & Company’s Managing Partner, Karen M. Brenneman, CPA, MT, to a three year term on the America’s Region board. BKR International’s Americas Region encompasses firms from Canada, the United States, and all of Latin America. BKR International is a leading global association of independent accounting and business advisory firms representing the expertise of more than 135 member firms with over 9,000 professionals in 300 offices in over 70 countries around the world.
Karen has worked with local and regional firms from small to large over the last 20 years and brings to BKR International the best features of each.
Karen earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Taxation from the University of Akron. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and recently served as chair for the U.S. Tax Committee for BKR International. Actively involved in the community Karen is on the finance committee of the Stark Development Board, Canton Regional Chamber Commerce executive board member, president-elect of Canton Rotary, treasurer of Meyers Lake YMCA and is a member of the 15th Class of Leadership Stark County.
