Hall, Kistler & Company is pleased to announce that Supervisors Alex Ferrara, MBA, and Seth Turner, CVA have completed the course work and passed the Certified Public Accountants exam administered by the Accountancy Board of Ohio.
Alex joined the firm in 2012 and leads the non-profit niche. He is also actively involved in the manufacturing and professional service niches. His service specialties include accounting and assurance and financial and tax consulting.
Alex earned an undergraduate from Mt. Union and a master’s from the University of Akron. He is a member of the AICPA, the OSCPA, and BKR International. In the community, Alex is a member of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, GiGi’s Playhouse, and a 2018 graduate of the Leadership Stark County Spotlight program.
Alex’s passion for helping people carries outside of the office. He spends most evenings coaching clients in the gym. He loves helping people grow mentally and physically stronger while watching them celebrate breakthroughs in life.
Seth has more than 15 years of experience serving our clients. He leads our Business Valuation and Fraud niche, where he’s also a Certified Valuation Analyst(CVA). Seth’s other services specialties include accounting and assurance, services, tax consulting, and financial consulting services.
Seth is a graduate of Stark State College with an Associates in Accounting and is a member of the AICPA, the OSCPA, NACVA, and BKR International. In the community, Seth is involved in yStark!, Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce.
Seth likes to catch some fresh air outside as time allows. You can often find him on two wheels—either on a bicycle or motorcycle—or hitting up walking trails with his wife and two children. At home, Seth enjoys chilling to his record collection, an eclectic mix of music spanning multiple decades and genres.
